EL CAJON, Calif. – Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit two cyclists as they were riding in a bicycle lane early Tuesday.
The men were rising on North Mollison Avenue at around 2 a.m. when a gray Honda sedan entered the bike lane and hit the rear cyclist, police said. The crash pushed the rear cyclist into his companion and both men hit the pavement. The lead cyclist was not seriously hurt, but the rear cyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The Honda driver fled the accident scene.
