SAN DIEGO — A UC San Diego student has tested positive for coronavirus, the university announced Monday.

The student is self-isolated and is receiving care, according to a statement released on the university’s website Monday evening.

The university is working with San Diego County Public Health officials to notify individuals who have had recent close contact with the student, according to the statement. If there is a need for anyone to be isolated or contacted, they will be contacted.
