Carjackers on the loose in San Ysidro

SAN DIEGO — Two suspected carjackers were on the loose in San Ysidro Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

San Diego Police Department officials were looking for two people who they said threatened a driver with a gun before stealing the driver’s car at about 4 p.m. along the 300 block of East Beyer Boulevard.

Police said the suspects were still at large Sunday evening.

No additional information about the suspects was immediately available.
