SAN DIEGO — A BMW crashed into a house Friday evening in northern San Diego.
The crash happened around 5:25 p.m. near Lopelia Meadows Place and Golden Lily Way near Carmel Valley. The vehicle went through a wall in the garage area, but didn’t leave any skid marks on the road. The shrubs around the crash site were also minimally damaged.
“This is a quiet neighborhood,” neighbor Walt Matej told FOX 5. “This is an amazing incident. The most exciting thing that ever happens here is when some neighbor loses his dog.”

The crash drew neighbors out of their homes, puzzled over the circumstances that led to the wild scene.
“This intersection’s got four stop signs, so how could somebody go that fast to literally lift and shoot into a garage? It’s incredible,” Matej said.
No injuries were reported.
