VALLEY CENTER, Calif. - Sunday was an emotional night for the family of a missing elderly couple who haven't been seen since disappearing from Valley View Casino on Mother's Day.

An intimate candlelight vigil took place at Ridgeview Church in Valley Center Sunday night where family members of the couple as well as Team Amber rescue volunteers prayed for closure.

Dianna Bedwell, 67, and 79-year-old Cecil "Paul" Knutson never showed up for Mother's Day dinner at Bedwell's son's home in Riverside County.

Bedwell's son, Robert Acosta, and daughter, Debbie Apple, were visibly shaken at the candlelight vigil, pleading for the return of their mother and step-father.

Last week, Team Amber rescue volunteers joined in on search efforts for the couple. The group was founded by Carrie McGonigle, the mother of Amber Dubois, who was abducted and killed 5 years ago.

Search volunteers said no clues or leads have turned up.

The couple if believed to be driving a white 2014 Hyundai Sonata.

If you have any information on the couple's whereabouts, you are urged to call the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
