SAN DIEGO — A pedestrian was struck by a taxi cab while crossing a street in Old Town New Year’s Eve, police said Tuesday.
The man was crossing Rosecrans Street just east of the Sports Arena Boulevard/Camino del Rio intersection at about 8:30 p.m. Monday when he was struck, according to San Diego police Officer Ray Clark.
The man was taken to a hospital and was treated for head injuries, Clark said.
Traffic officers were dispatched to investigate, Clark said.
