CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Several crews responded to a brush fire along Interstate 5 in Chula Vista early Tuesday morning.

Around 1 a.m., dry vegetation near the freeway caught fire, but crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames. One on-ramp was briefly closed, but reopened around 2 a.m.

Fire officials are working to determine the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
