Landlord calls bomb squad to trailer park

VALLEY CENTER, Calif. – A dispute between a landlord and a former tenant led to the discovery of several suspicious devices at a Valley Center trailer park Wednesday, a sheriff’s lieutenant said.Valley Center possible pipe bomb

Several mobile homes were evacuated Wednesday afternoon in the 14900 block of Oakvale Road in Valley Center, near Lake Wohlford, a San Diego Sheriff’s lieutenant said.

possible-pipe-bomb1A  landlord called deputies around 1:30p.m. after finding the suspicious devices at the trailer park, two days after the tenant was evicted, a deputy told Fox5.  The bomb squad arrived at 4 p.m.

Bomb squad determined the devices were inoperable.

It was unknown if any arrests made in connection with the incident.

Residents were allowed to return to their homes around 7 p.m.
