CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Police discovered a man’s body in a Chula Vista shopping center early Friday afternoon.
The body was found next to a dumpster behind stores on Naples Street and Broadway around 12:45 p.m.
Police said there were no initial signs of foul play. An investigation into the man’s death is underway.
FOX 5 spoke to shoppers in the area who were shocked to hear the news. “It’s horrible,” said Armando Cossio, who had stopped in to run errands. “There’s not too much crime around here. You don’t normally hear that.”
