SAN DIEGO – As the San Diego State Aztecs football team begins pre-season training, a video showing off their new uniforms and helmets for the 2015 season was released Tuesday.
The mildly dramatic video shows a seamstress stitching the final details to the red, black and white jerseys along with placing SDSU decals on the helmets.
Details on the uniforms feature the Aztec Calendar, symbolizing a piece of Mexican history dating back to the 1400s, according to SDSU.
SDSU opens their 2015 on Saturday, September 5 against University of San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium. The matchup is considered a home game for the Aztecs and will kick off at 5 p.m.
