JULIAN, Calif. — At least one person was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on a remote road near Cuyamaca Rancho State Park.
Dispatchers were told around 4:30 a.m. that a car had struck a tree on Engineers Road one to two miles past the Cal Fire San Diego Cuyamaca fire station near state Route 79, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.
It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone else was in the car.
No identifying information was available.
