NEW YORK — A former doctor wearing a white lab coat who opened fire inside a Bronx hospital Friday killed at least one person and injured several others before apparently killing himself, WPIX reported.
There are five other victims in the Bronx Lebanon Hospital shooting, in addition to the shooting suspect and the woman found dead near him. Three of those five victims are in serious condition from gunshot wounds, a law enforcement source told CNN.
The shooter is dead at the hospital, according to the NYPD. The suspect, who was wearing a white lab coat and had ID on him, shot himself on the 16th floor, according to law enforcement officials.
Gunfire broke out at 2:50 p.m. ET inside the Bronx Lebanon Hospital, according to the NYPD.
