9/11 victims honored at Fallbrook event

FALLBROOK, Calif. – The victims of 9/11 attacks and their families will be honored during a two-day event in Fallbrook.

An hour-long candlelight vigil is scheduled for Thursday at 8 p.m. followed by a ceremony on Friday at 6 p.m.  Both events will take place at Main and Alvarado streets at Vince Ross Square.

The events will display a 720-pound piece of steel from the South Tower, a 10-foot replica of the World Trade Center 1 & 2, a memorial for United Flight 93, flights crews, New York City, FDNY firefighters and more.
