SAN DIEGO – A 4-year-old girl was hit by a car backing out of a driveway in Linda Vista Monday afternoon, police said.

A man called San Diego police asking for help after a girl was hit in the 2200 block of Dunlop Street around 1 p.m. She was not pinned or trapped under the vehicle and was breathing, police said.

No other information was available.
