SAN DIEGO — The bodies of two women and a man, all in their late teens or early 20s, were found Sunday in a trunk in the Bay Terraces neighborhood, according to authorities.

Police dispatchers received a call around 5 p.m. regarding a suspicious vehicle parked on Jamie Avenue just south of the Paradise Hills Recreation Center, San Diego police Lt. Martha Sainz said. Officers opened the vehicle’s trunk to find three bodies inside, police told FOX 5.

“Due to the condition of the bodies, their race is unknown,” Sainz said. “This investigation is in its preliminary stages and the homicide detectives will be working with the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the identity of all three victims and the manner and cause of death.”

“A couple people stays here, lives here in their car,” said resident, Ahmed Omar.

Ahmed Omar has lived on the street for 2 years now. He says that random cars parked along his street are bringing a bad element to the neighborhood.

“I’m kind of a little bit worried since this thing happened,” said Omar.

“There are some drug sales around here,” said longtime resident, Mark Devous. “But otherwise not three murders.”
