SAN DIEGO — A two-story home caught fire in Mira Mesa early Monday, causing $150,000 in damage and displacing three people and four dogs, authorities said.

mira mesaThe noninjury fire in the 7600 block of Acama Place was reported at 1:38 a.m. and knocked down 20 minutes later, according to a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher.

Damage was estimated at $100,000 to the structure and $50,000 in content losses, she said.

The cause was under investigation.
