CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Three teenagers were arrested Tuesday after Chula Vista police said they found several stolen items from house and cars in their possession.

Residents on the 2100 block of Stonecreek Place called CVPD at 2:45 a.m. to report suspicious people casing parked cars and stealing property from at least one vehicle, police said. The suspects left the area by the time police arrived.

About an hour later, an elderly woman in the 2600 block of Flagstaff Court called police after hearing burglars inside her home, CVPD investigators said. The burglars left and the victim’s purse and cell phone were reported missing.

Soon after leaving the home, officers found a stolen car with several stolen items from home and car burglaries parked on Dry Creek Road, CVPD reported.  Jaylen Holloway, 19, his 19-year-old girlfriend Briana Howell and a 16-year-old boy were also inside vehicle, according to police.

The three suspects were booked for burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of stolen vehicle.
