22 Marines injured during training exercise

TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. -- Twenty-two Marines were injured Thursday when a fire extinguisher system inadvertently discharged aboard an assault amphibious vehicle in Twentynine Palms, Fox News reported.

The Marines and sailors of 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment were participating in a training exercise at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, according to the Marine Corps.

The service members were sent to local medical facilities and are in stable condition, according to a news release from the combat center.
