VISTA, Calif. — Two members of the Vista Home Boys street gang found with a handgun and methamphetamine during a law enforcement raid were facing charges Tuesday.

Deputies assigned to the Vista station’s Gang Enforcement Team conducted the sweep around 2:45 p.m. Monday and found one of the suspects in possession of a .32-caliber revolver and “a slew of ammunition,” according to Frank Sandoval of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

The other was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine, Sandoval said.

Neither suspect’s name was immediately released, nor were the locations where they were taken into custody.
