SAN DIEGO -Fox 5 Wine Guy Will Burtner introduces us to world renowned winemaker, Chris Carpenter.
Chris is the winemaker for some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon being made in Napa Valley including Cardinale, La Jota and Mt Brave.
Chris received a perfect 100 point score for his 2006 Cardinale. His wines perpetually score in the mid 90’s and up.
While speaking with Chris off the set, we learned that he played football at the University of Illinois and was a bartender in Chicago before he made his way out to UC Davis where he earned his Masters degree in Viticulture.
