SAN DIEGO — A man was found dead Wednesday against a rock jetty at Hospitality Point on the San Diego River.
Pedestrians walking along the jetty that separates the river and Mission Bay found the body around 6:45 a.m., and police and lifeguards were summoned to the vicinity of 2500 block of Quivira Court, according to San Diego police and fire officials.
It was not immediately clear how the person died, but police and county Medical Examiner’s Office personnel were investigating, Capt. Joe Amador of the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said.
