When you listen to Xavier “The X-Man,” it’s like listening to your best friend, the one that keeps you smiling. Xavier has been on Magic 92.5 for the past 20 years. His loyal following can be witnessed at every community event he’s a part of or through his social media platforms where he has a huge following and strong engagement. If he ran for mayor he would probably win. His love for the community can be felt throughout his radio show, often giving a voice to the voiceless with interviews and features about a community happenings.
Born in Fort Ord, California, Xavier grew up in Salinas and started DJing at the of 16 years old, volunteering at the local public community radio station and working his way up which eventually led him to work up and down the California coast at major market stations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Jose. The X-Man has worked afternoon drive time and has also been the Assistant Program Director. He can now be heard during the workday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
His passion for music goes further than just his Monday-Friday mid-day show. He is the Sound and Soul of the “Xavier The X-Man’s Sunday Night Oldies Show” that’s now syndicated in various markets throughout the southwest.
Xavier has also been the host of his very own car show for the past 18 years, “Xavier The X-Man’s Cruise For The Cause,” raising money for the Emilio Nares Foundation, a nonprofit organization in San Diego that helps kids battling cancer and their families.
