  • Deputies search for missing Rancho Santa Fe woman

    SAN DIEGO – A 61-year-old woman left for work Wednesday in Poway and has been missing ever since, according to deputies. Susan Bazeley’s vehicle was located later in a park, said Lt. Clayton Lisk of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. It is highly unusual behavior for her, Lisk said. Bazeley is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She was wearing a dark brown cardigan over gray slacks.

    SAN DIEGO – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose four-tenths of a cent today to $3.623 after dropping slightly the previous two days.     SAN DIEGO — San Diego firefighters knocked down a fire that consumed less than an acre of brush Wednesday night, but another couple of hours will be needed to fully extinguish the blaze.     SAN DIEGO — The future USS Coronado started its journey today to its San Diego home port, where it will be commissioned in April, the Navy reported.
