
Jaime Chambers started his reporting career at KTLA News at the age of 21. He was quickly promoted from an assistant assignment editor to reporter, after his unplanned coverage of a plane crash in 2001.
Jaime is the grandson of the Los Angeles news icon Stan Chambers and worked alongside his grandfather for 9 years.
He has won four Los Angeles Emmy Awards and was awarded the National Tribune prize, the highest honor awarded to a reporter working for the Tribune Company.
In 2012, Jaime moved to his hometown of Solana Beach and started working with FOX 5 San Diego. He started as a business reporter developing a segment called “On The Money.” Now, Jaime is a lead reporter who fills in as an anchor.
Jaime is also a Del Mar lifeguard EMT and a former competitive surfer. Jaime is married to his college sweetheart and has two children.
