Her career as an anchor and reporter has taken her across the country. Elizabeth got her start in news straight out of college working for KCBS-TV in Los Angeles as a news assistant. Her first on-air job was as a “one-man-band” in Roswell, New Mexico. She then went on to work as an anchor/reporter in El Paso, Orlando and Albuquerque.
Elizabeth has covered some of the biggest stories to make national headlines. She brought viewers up-to-the-minute information from the Fort Bliss army post after the ambush of the 507th Maintenance Company in Nasiriyah, Iraq during the 2003 invasion. While working for the FOX O&O in Orlando, Elizabeth helped to cover the infamous Casey Anthony case. She also covered a lot of severe weather assignments in Florida including hurricanes, tropical storms and tornadoes. Her favorite assignments, however, were covering space shuttle launches from Kennedy Space Center.
She’s a very familiar face in San Diego, having spent nearly 8 years at KUSI before joining FOX 5.
When she’s not working, Elizabeth stays busy with shuffling her kids between school, baseball and softball. She’s also an avid salsa dancer.
