Born and raised in Arizona, I’m super stoked to live in a place I spent so many summers in as a kid and yes, as a “Zonie.” It was those trips that fueled my drive to one day live in the place I now call home – San Diego. My dream at 12 years old was to become a weatherman. Boom! Here I am, best of both worlds. See you in the water or maybe cruising down the boardwalk.
I’m known around the newsroom for… In the newsroom is where my dancing skills come alive. I can teach you how to “DOUGIE”, Errrbody Dougie.
What is something no one knows about me? I golf right handed but bat left handed. Some might not know I was 6-feet tall in the 8th grade.
My most memorable TV moment… Doing a last minute, one man telethon to help raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Not once but twice raising over $140,000.
I give back to my community by… hopping on the mic at different events. I’ve been the master of ceremonies and even played the part of auctioneer. Sold!
Dinner for 5 – who’s invited? The cast of The Breakfast Club, I grew up in the 80’s. I would play the role of the nerd. #Neomaxizoomdweebie
If I had free time, I would… Fine tune my guitar skillz or lack there of. Just started to play and so far I’m yet to figure out what the heck I’m doing.
My guilty pleasure is …Shopping for shoes. Crazy as it sounds, because all I ever wear are flip flops (Cobian) if a rep is reading this. My closet is full of running shoes and I maybe run twice a year.
