SoCal school is 1st to get early earthquake warning system

LOS ANGELES -- A Southern California public school is the first to get a dedicated earthquake early warning system in classrooms.

Students and teachers at Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles will get an alert up to a minute before the shaking starts. Rich Demuro checked out how the new system works.
