SAN DIEGO — A broken fire hydrant sent a geyser into the air near La Mesa Thursday.
The hydrant was spewing water into the air around 5 p.m. at La Mesa Boulevard and Fletcher Parkway.
After about ten minutes, Heartland Fire Department officials were able to stop the flow of water. It wasn’t immediately clear what broke the hydrant — the person who reported the geyser did not see a car accident in the area.
