SAN DIEGO -- Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead inside a flooring-materials business in the East Village.
At 3:42 p.m., police got a call from a customer who said he had found a dead body, according to San Diego police.
Police have not said how the man died, but say he had trauma to his upper body.
Officers are looking for two suspects including a man wearing a mask resembling an older woman with gray hair. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark pants. They are also looking for a light-skinned woman with long purple hair that was possibly a wig. She was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.
Surveillance cameras recorded the two suspects inside the business, according to San Diego Police Lt. Matt Dobbs.
The victim's identity will not be released until his family has been notified.
Friends of the man who owned the shop, Bottom Price Flooring, are hopeful it's not him.
"The wife, brother-in-law and other family members have been trying to call him but there's no answer," said Johnny Mikha. "I hope and pray it's not him. Hopefully this will be resolved soon."
