First rainfall of season brings scattered showers to county

SAN DIEGO – A low-pressure system sweeping through Southern California brought scattered showers to the San Diego area Wednesday evening.

Isolated showers from the first storm of the season are expected to continue across the region overnight into Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
