Man arrested after carjacking mail truck, police say

SAN DIEGO — A man was arrested after he allegedly carjacked a U-S Postal Service truck in Mission Valley.

The man simulated a gun and took the vehicle from a postal worker around 3 p.m. Sunday in the 6700 block of Friars Road, police said.

The postal worker was not hurt and police recovered the stolen truck.

The man’s name has not yet been released.
