Crews extinguish ‘ring of fire’ on rural hillside

BONITA, Calif. – Firefighters in Bonita quickly stopped the spread of a brush fire late Thursday.

The three-acre blaze broke out around 10:30 p.m. near Corral Canyon Road.

Fire officials said it was difficult for crews to get their trucks to the rural site.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
