Man with rifle and shotgun fires rounds on city streets, cops say

SAN DIEGO – A man was arrested after allegedly shooting a rifle and shotgun in Cortez Hill early Wednesday.

Jason Thomas Turner, 42, was walking along 4th and Cedar streets around 2:30 a.m. when he shot several rounds into the air, police said.

Nobody was injured by the gunshots and nearby buildings weren’t damaged.

Turner was charged with illegally discharging of a firearm and carrying a loaded firearm in public.
