Gunman gets away with cash from Oceanside McDonald’s

OCEANSIDE, Calif. — A McDonald’s restaurant in Oceanside was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday.

A gunman and an accomplice escaped with cash following the hold-up at the fast food eatery on Vista Way near Jefferson Street around 4:30 a.m., according to Oceanside police Sgt. Richard Schickel.

A detailed description of the suspects was not immediately available.
