Man drives to work with top down during snowy commute

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- As the saying goes: If you don't like the weather in Cleveland, wait 15 minutes, it will change. Maybe that was one driver's thought when leaving the house Thursday morning.

A photo taken by Joe Burdick shows a man in a convertible with the top down. He's driving on the ramp to Interstate 480 around 7:50 a.m., FOX 8 reported.


Burdick posted the picture to Twitter and added that he drove through white-out conditions before it was safe enough to take the ridiculous picture.

Temperatures were below 20 degrees and some drivers, including the FOX 8 meteorologist, reported getting stuck in a two-hour commutes to travel just a few miles.

The Cleveland-area was expected to continue to get snow overnight and into Friday morning. We can only wonder if the driver put the top up for the evening commute.
