Vehicle crashes into downtown library

SAN DIEGO – A vehicle crashed into the San Diego's downtown library Monday morning, but no one was seriously injured, police said.

The collision was reported at about 7:40 a.m. at 330 Park Boulevard, according to police.

An ambulance was requested, but officers canceled that request after arriving at the accident scene.

It was not immediately known what kind of vehicle crashed into the building or how much damage was done to the building. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
