Possible kidnapping victim found in Pacific Beach, 3 detained

Pacific Beach residents say police officers need to respond to calls in their neighborhoods a lot faster.

SAN DIEGO – A possible kidnapping that began in Los Angeles ended in Pacific Beach early Wednesday.

Police say they tracked down a car pulling into the parking lot of a motel on Mission Bay Drive around 2 a.m.

Officers say they detained three people inside the car. The victim, who was allegedly kidnapped in Hollywood Hills, was also in the vehicle, but not hurt.

Authorities are working with LAPD to confirm whether the person was kidnapped.

No further information was immediately released.
