SAN DIEGO – Former San Diego Chargers quarterback and current New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will play at Qualcomm Stadium Sunday, returning to stadium for the first time since 2005.

Brees told FOX 5 he has fond memories of his time in San Diego and Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers.

Rivers played two seasons as Bree’s backup says he learned a lot from the future Hall of Famer — mostly how to be a professional athlete and the routine of the game.

Both quarterbacks spoke to the media Wednesday — listen to what they had to say (click on the video above).

Chargera fans love Rivers and they also seem to love Brees — maybe equally. It’ll be interesting to watch the two square off Sunday.
