Motorcyclist injured in collision with parked car

SAN DIEGO — A 34-year-old man was severely injured in a motorcycle crash in the Encanto area, police said Wednesday.

The rider of a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle crashed into a parked vehicle in the vicinity of 60th Street and Wunderlin Avenue and was ejected around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and suffered head trauma and internal injuries in the crash. Delimitros said his injuries were serious, but were not considered life-threatening.
