Five motorhomes damaged in fire

IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. — A motorhome caught fire in Imperial Beach Thursday morning.

The blaze broke out inside a mobile home park on Palm Avenue near Rainbow Drive at about 5 a.m., according to the county sheriff’s department.

Nobody was injured in the blaze. Four other nearby RVs were also damaged before crews knocked down the flames, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
