Gunman sprays Escondido neighborhood with bullets; 1 injured
ESCONDIDO, Calif. – Police are looking for a gunman who shot nearly 20 rounds at a man in an Escondido neighborhood late Tuesday night.
The shooting happened near West 7th Avenue and South Quince Street around 10:30 p.m.
The victim collapsed in an alley after being shot in the arm and upper body. He was taken to the hospital, but is expected to survive.
Bullets also shattered car windshields on the street.
A suspect description has not been released. Police believe the shooting may be gang related.
