SAN DIEGO -- A new floating deck for the Coasterra Restaurant moved into port Monday.

The massive $2 million, 6,000 sq ft. pre-constructed floating event space was towed across the San Diego Big Bay to its final destination at the former site of San Diego`s iconic Ruben E. Lee on Harbor Island.

The new harbor float will be used for private events.
