SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State University is warning students to be extra cautious when walking near the school after several females were allegedly touched by a man on campus.

On Sunday, 28-year old Robbie Shumate, was arrested for making unwanted contact with a woman.

Since his arrest, others have come forward telling police they were also grabbed by Shumate, who is no longer in custody.

Since his release, Shumate, who is not a student at SDSU, has reportedly been spotted in the area near the campus.

The school is asking women to be aware of their surroundings, avoid dimly lit locations and to immediately report suspicious activity to the police department by dialing 911.
