Driver runs off after slamming into parked cars

SAN DIEGO – Police are searching for a man who slammed his Mustang into several parked vehicles in the Paradise Hills neighborhood early Thursday, leaving a trail of damage half a city block long.

The crash happened in the 5500 block of Potomac Street around 1:30 a.m.

According to police, the driver was speeding down the road, crashed into a parked car and skidded through some bushes and into the front yard of a nearby home.  Four other cars were damaged in the crash.

Witnesses say the man appeared to be injured but ran from the scene.

Nobody in the neighborhood was hurt. Police continue to investigate.
