Gwen Stefani to headline All-Star Game concert in San Diego

SAN DIEGO – Gwen Stefani, OneRupublic and Tori Kelly will be performing at Major League Baseball All-Star Concerts this summer in San Diego.

MLB will host three major concerts for fans as part of All-Star Week. The concert dates are Friday, July 8 and 9 at San Diego’s Embarcadero Marina Park South.

The headliners will each have a special guest to open the show.

  • Friday, July 8 at 7 p.m. OneRepublic & special guest NEEDTOBREATHE
  • Saturday, July 9 at 12 p.m. Tori Kelly & special guest All Time Low
  • Saturday, July 9 at 7 p.m. Gwen Stefani & special guest Eve

Fireworks will follow the two evening concert performances.

Fans can obtain a free standing room only ticket based on availability online beginning Friday, June 17 at 10 a.m. Free tickets, which may not be sold, must be downloaded, printed and brought to Embarcadero Marina Park South for entry to the concert. Limit two tickets and one show per individual request.

Other musical acts will be announced later, according to MLB.

The concerts are among a variety of activities associated with the All- Star Game, which is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, at Petco Park.

Baseball-related youth activities and instruction will take place beginning July 7, with the All-Star FanFest getting underway the following day at the San Diego Convention Center.

A series of events are set for the Sunday before the game, including a 5K run, the annual Futures Game and a softball game featuring former stars and celebrities.
