This is a fascinating time for Asian Americans.

And I’m proud to be raising my children here in San Diego, where they're learning mandarin in public school, Asian food is a staple, our city councilman is Filipino, and in general, there’s more interest in the Asian community.

I'm privileged that my work at Pacific Arts Movement has contributed to this cultural shift.
