4th Mar Vista High staffer placed on leave

SAN DIEGO – A fourth staff member at Mar Vista High School in a few weeks was placed on leave, school official confirmed Sunday.

A Navy junior ROTC instructor was placed on paid administrative leave Friday. School officials are not saying the reason why the instructor was on leave.

District officials removed classroom computers which is a “routine procedure in a comprehensive investigation,” Manuel Rubio, a director of Sweetwater Union High School District.

In the last month, the school had a tutor, ROTC instructor and football coach removed from the school after they were accused of having inappropriate relationships with students.
