Motorcyclist seriously hurt after crashing into guard rail

SAN DIEGO – A 27-year-old motorcyclist in Clairemont Mesa East suffered life-threatening injuries Sunday when he crashed into a guard rail and was ejected from his bike.

The crash occurred a little after 12:40 a.m. in the 3600 block of Genesee Avenue, said San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.

The motorcyclist was going southbound on Genesee Avenue when he crashed into the guard rail. Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to an area hospital, Heims said.
