Middle-aged woman robs suburban Jack in the Box

SAN DIEGO — San Diego police sought Friday a woman who robbed a Jack in the Box restaurant in the Tierrasanta neighborhood.

The suspect demanded money from an employee at the fast food eatery on Tierrasanta Boulevard near La Cuenta Drive around 8:40 p.m. Thursday.  She escaped with an undisclosed amount before officers arrived.

Police described the robber as white, in her 50s, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 and 180 to 200 pounds. She was wearing a red bandana, a red jacket, a brown T- shirt and glasses.
