LA JOLLA, Calif. - FOX 5 reporter Abbey Gibb was practicing with some of the best college tennis players in the U.S. Thursday morning when her backswing misfired.

The tennis ball went flying straight at the video camera and hit photographer Zak Bartleet on live TV. The morning show anchors Raoul Martinez and Shally Zomorodi obviously didn't see that coming and immediately reacted to the mishap.

Bartleet said he was just fine and like a true professional didn't lose his shot and kept the camera rolling.

Hundreds of the best college tennis players will be at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club this weekend to compete in the Pacific Men's Coast Doubles Championships.
